A year in the life of the Curlew
The Lake Constance region is characterised by numerous birds coming from the far north, especially in the cold season, spending their winter quarters here. One of them is the Curlew. With this bird, visitors get to know the region and the work of the NABU (Naturschutzbund Deutschland).

Experience diversity - understand diversity
Visitors will travel with the Curlew on a journey through the year at Lake Constance. In a playful way they learn about the importance of the region as a place to spend the winter, follow the bird migration routes, recreate the silhouettes of numerous birds and become active themselves. In the Citizen Science project, visitors can enter their own bird sightings and compare them with data from other visitors.
