A year in the life of the curlew
The region of Lake Constance is particularly popular with numerous bird species who travel here from the far North to weather the winter months. One of these species is the curlew. By way of this bird, visitors become acquainted with the region and the work of the environment association NABU (Naturschutzbund Deutschland).

Experience diversity - understand diversity
Visitors join the curlew on a journey through the year at Lake Constance. In a playful approach, they learn about the importance of the region as a good place to spend the winter, follow bird migration routes, recreate the silhouettes of numerous birds and get actively involved. In the Citizen Science project, visitors can enter their own bird sightings and compare them with data provided by other visitors.
